Saja Al Obaidi is an accomplished Iraqi lawyer and the founder of Sadeem Law Firm, with over 9 years of experience providing legal counsel to companies, banks, and institutions operating in Iraq. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Baghdad and a Master’s degree in Public Law (specializing in Public International Law) from the University of the Middle East in Jordan.
My Story
Saja specializes in corporate and commercial law, offering services that include company registration, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, taxation, social security, litigation, and legal due diligence for companies and investment projects. She has served as legal advisor to Byblos Bank Group in Iraq since 2020, providing legal risk analysis and support on complex financial and corporate matters. She has also advised Zain Cash on fintech compliance and contract structuring, and worked with Al Tamimi & Co. on investment and labor-related legal services.
Through Sadeem Law Firm, Saja leads a team committed to delivering clear, accurate, and business-oriented legal solutions tailored to the Iraqi legal and regulatory environment. She is known for her professionalism, strategic insight, and deep understanding of local business practices.
Saja is a licensed member of the Iraqi Bar Association and fluent in Arabic and English.
